I recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where I studied Interactive Media Arts and Computer Science, and I hope to begin teaching in the New York City school system this fall. I have always been drawn to working with young people, especially helping students feel more confident in math. This year, I began tutoring peers and discovered how much I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts and adapting lessons to each learner. At NYU, I also served as a student mentor and cohort facilitator for first-year and transfer students. As a docent and lab assistant, I guided visitors through an interactive exhibition and led workshops for visiting college classes.
