I have two grown children, Bill (32) and Laurie (31). For 38 years I worked as a school teacher (primarily English and Reading) and thus have had the pleasure of helping facilitate growth and knowledge for hundreds if not thousands of children. When I decided to retire in 2016 I quickly realized something was missing from my life and knew immediately what it was. The kids! Since then I was a nanny for two wonderful children: One little girl (Delaney) from the time she was 11 months until she was ready for preschool at 3. The other was a set of children (Jacob 3 months until 2. 5 years of age. James who I only watched part time was 3. 5 - 5. With the advent of the original outbreak of COVID (In 2020) I had to put a pause on my nannying work but am eager to get back in there!
