About Annika

Hi! My name is Annika and I am a Child Development major at Chico State. I have more than five years experience working with children in many atmospheres. I have been a babysitter/nanny for six years, and have babysat for children ages 4mo- 12yrs. I have months of experience interning on-campus at the Child Development Lab with infants so I am very good with babies. I also am a summer camp counselor over summers at Adventure Day Camp through Chico State. When I work with kids it is always my goal to build a strong healthy relationship with them and provide a safe space where they feel comfortable and loved in my care. I love spending time with children and helping them grow and discover the world. It is also my philosophy to stay off of electronics as much as we can, and to facilitate activities where creativity and imagination can flourish. I am punctual, communicative, creative, full of energy, and if you hire me to provide care for your kids you will not be sorry!
