About Annie

I have 15 years of experience caring for & educating children, I am dedicated to nurturing their growth, confidence, & development while providing dependable, compassionate care to families. I hold a BS in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) with a specialization in Language Arts from Bloomsburg University (BU). I have 5 years of experience as a private school teacher, teaching preschool & 2nd grade, as well as being part of BU's 1st class to earn a Child Life Specialist certificate. I have a strong foundation in child development & age-appropriate learning. Safety is key for me. I am trained in CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, & active shooter response. I am comfortable caring for up to 2 children, from infants through teens, & I bring a calm, patient, creative, & friendly approach to every family. I consistently enforce household rules with respect. I'm happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, swimming supervision, & homework, & I value clear communication with parents.
