Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a passion. With eight years of experience caring for children (aged newborn to 12) in a childcare / preschool setting, I've developed a warm and friendly - often goofy - approach that kiddos respond to. I recognize that each child is different, and that this job requires a willingness to adapt and to collaborate. I am CPR & First Aid certified, and I have my CDA for ages 3-5. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules, and I always follow parents' preferred communication methods to keep you informed about your child's day. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets. I do have my own step children so I do need some flexibility with regards to time off to be there for big moments / days of theirs - but I am very reliable and respectful about discussing any needed time off with advanced notice.
