Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With 20 years of experience as a Certified Special Education Teacher, I specialize in beginning and developing reading and writing skills for elementary and middle school students. I hold a graduate degree in Elementary and Special Education as well as a sixth year in Reading. I am trained in the Wilson and Sonday reading programs. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I adapt my methods using hands-on activities and visual aides, and use consistent feedback to suit your child's needs. By celebrating small successes and maintaining open communication with families, I create a collaborative, supportive environment.
