We had a phone interview scheduled with Annie today. She answered the phone, and was clearly distracted. When I asked her if she wanted to take a moment to compose herself before we began. She said, No that's OK. I just forgot and am at work right now. Then I heard an infant in the phone. She was caring for an infant, with her phone within 1 ring arm distance, answered the phone from an unknown number, tried to silence the infant to have a job interview, that she forgot about... won't be hiring her, and wish I could call the Mom she was working for to let her know.
