I'd describe my personality as 'glass half full'. I love to learn, and don't tend to overreact. I like working with kids because their fresh perspective reminds me to check my assumptions. They help me counterbalance the seriousness of life! I'm looking for a job that has regular hours and prioritizes communication. My role is to support the family culture, and I respect the choices families make in child rearing. I started working with kids when I was a teen. I have cared for many children from infants to tweens, including briefly as a home daycare assistant. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors. I have a Somatic Movement and Fitness practice, and love learning about the human body. One thing you should know about me is I do my best, and will admit when I fail, because I value learning and honest communication.
