About Anneliese

I'd describe my personality as sincere and warm with a quirky sense of humor. I like to have fun and don't overreact. I like working with kids because their world is simple, honest and full of wonder. I never tire of supporting children as they grow and learn. I value communication and honesty with the families I work with. I see my role as supporting the family culture, and I respect the choices families make in child rearing. I started working with kids when I was a teen. As a Gen Xer, I have cared for many children of all ages. Creative play and supporting a kid's imagination is my joy. I find that holding boundaries for children supports everyone having more fun! I love learning about human movement and development, and have had a Movement Therapy and Fitness practice for 15 years. In my spare time I like to get outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I do my best, and am humble and honest when I inevitably make mistakes. I aim to judge less and help more.
