About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm 24 and have been a full-time nanny for the past 3 years! I recently went back to school to pursue a teaching degree. I started working at a daycare in 2020 as an assistant teacher in the toddler room and absolutely fell in love with working with kids! I gained experience in all age groups, from infants to school-aged children. Watching kids play, learn, and grow brings me so much joy. After some time I transitioned to nannying because I became really interested in a more one-on-one approach, something that lets me support a child's individual development in ways that aren't always possible in a busy daycare setting. I care deeply about helping kids build confidence, express their emotions in healthy ways, and develop strong emotional intelligence. I love setting up sensory play and fun activities that spark curiosity and learning. I like reading, baking, gardening and crafts. My favorite thing is going on adventures/nature walks and hikes are a must!
