As an experienced former lead preschool teacher, para and nanny, my passion lies in positively impacting children's lives & supporting families. With 7 years of experience in the daycare field, 2 in elem school para setting, and 1 year nanny role, my compassionate and optimistic nature allows me to connect with children and help them learn and grow while building confidence and self esteem. I am happy to enforce household rules while maintaining a nurturing environment. My communication with parents is flexible, adapting to their preferred methods. I provide verbal updates at pickup & send regular text or phone call updates throughout the day. I believe in making learning fun & engaging, so you'll often find us singing and dancing, playing musical instruments, board games, imaginative play, or arts and crafts. I have a college degree, am CPR/First Aid certified, have a car, am a non smoker & mother. Also have background in music (piano and percussion). Open to lessons.
