About Anne

Hi My name is Anne Thomas! I am a current UNCC graduate student perusing my Masters degree in Elementary Education. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communications, dedicating 28 of my 32 elective credit hours to Human Development and Family Studies courses. I have experience nannying for a family with 3 kids ages 3 months, 5 years, and 11 years, helping with light house keeping, pet sitting, transportation, etc. I have spent numerous summers as a teacher's assistant for the Montessori Academy of Virginia, as well as holding position as the Children's Activity's Director in my community's country club. I have volunteered numerous summer's coaching for my church's children's sports camp. I spent my last year of college interning for a nonprofit, Parents for Public Schools, working to better the public school system in our area and learning about the school system. I am energetic, positive, and love to be kept busy!
