Growing up, I have always had pets in my home. Mostly cats, but I am also very familiar with dogs, rabbits, birds, chickens, and fish. In the past, I have been responsible for taking care of my neighbor's two dogs, two cats, fish, chickens, and rabbits. The dogs need to be fed and let outside twice a day and walked once a day. I also make sure I give them some love and attention, so they know I am a good person who wants them to be taken care of and safe. The cats' water needed to be changed once a day and their food bowl needed to be replenished. The cats' liter box needed to be changed nice a week and scooped every other day. The rabbits needed fresh water everyday and a bowl of food with two handfuls of hay. They also need to be let out so they can hop around for a while. The fish just needs to eat one pellet in the morning and one at night. I enjoy taking care of the animals because I know they need extra attention since they will be missing their owners.
