About Anna

Hello!! My name is Anna! I am a recent college graduate with bachelor degrees in history and genocide studies. I love working with kids! I tutor all ages across a variety of subjects including the Barton Reading and Writing program for those struggling with dyslexia! I'd describe my personality as fun, compassionate, and responsible. I like tutoring because I love watching concepts click in the minds of kids. I started tutoring during the pandemic. I then started tutoring all ages in math and Barton after the pandemic. In my spare time, I like to read and go on hikes. I also love to snuggle with my dog, Keisha. One thing you should know about me is I am very responsible and want your child to succeed. Kids are struggling in school due to gaps that Covid created when they were forced online. My skills include patience, compassion, and understanding. I make it a focus to make sure that kids understand that there is nothing wrong with needing a little extra help sometimes.
