Hi! I am studying Music Therapy and am looking to use my degree to become a licensed music therapist to work with children with disabilities. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities, including three years in a private elementary after-school program and three summers leading a classroom for children with disabilities, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have worked with children with ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, non-verbal children, children with medical conditions, and children who are hard of hearing, and I am currently learning American Sign Language. I also have four years of experience caring for infants and toddlers and two years of teaching music lessons. While I love having fun with kids, I take childcare very seriously, carefully follow instructions, and always prioritize safety.
