About Anna

I've spent more than 20 years teaching, coaching, mentoring, and developing people - and now, as a psychology student myself, I've taken those skills back into the classroom. I especially enjoy helping students who don't necessarily thrive with a one-size-fits-all approach to learning. I'm patient, encouraging, emotionally intelligent, and good at breaking complicated ideas into language that actually makes sense. I can help with homework, writing and editing, reading comprehension, study skills, organization, research, test preparation, and building stronger academic habits. My approach isn't about simply getting through tonight's assignment. I want students to understand the material, recognize how they learn best, and become more confident working independently. I'm especially comfortable working with older children, preteens, teens, and students who need a little extra patience, creativity, or a different way of explaining something.
