About Anita

I have been in a caregiving capacity for most of my life. I was a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years and also have a huge passion for our local community of small businesses and farmers. I have been a staple in the farmers market circuit for the last 25 years. I even was employed for a short time at an Alzheimer's home, preparing the meals for about 30 to 40 residents. It was really easy to get attached to the folks that lived in the home and I really enjoyed my time there. My spouse was their maintenance man and that's why I managed the kitchen for them for a short period while they were in between cooks. I sincerely enjoy helping people feel good. I am a great companion, great listener, great cook, great at keeping things tidy. I am really good at uplifting your spirits, meeting you where you are at, and in general being a good helper.
