I have over 4 years of experience assisting family who had Alzheimers and my father who has dementia, incontinence and walking instability. Two year job assisting a lady with alzheimers in shopping with her, transportation and companionship. Very good reference from her family available. She has progressed with the alzheimers, is living in memory care, so now I am with her just one day a week. I can help with meal preparation( I am a great cook), transportation, shopping, dressing , pet care and light housekeeping. I am educated and can read or discuss current events. I am creative and would be happy to guide my care receiver in crafts or gardening, museum visits, local entertainment. So many ways to still enjoy life!

Anita is a true gem. After trying several different caregivers, I was ready to give up and didn’t know what I was going to do. Then along came Anita... such a relief! She is kind, gentle, and supportive with my mom who has Alzheimer's and is in memory care. I totally trust her to take Mom for outings, dr appointments, meals and she gives me good feedback on how Mom’s doing until I can get up to see her again. And Mom calls Anita her “best friend” and so looks forward to their visits which makes my heart happy. It’s so challenging to find really good care for a loved one but I/we truly feel blessed to have found Anita!
