About Anita

Hi! My name is Anita and I'm excited to get to know you and your family! I'm a retired first responder looking to fill my schedule purposefully. I know just how busy life can get so if I can help a family by lending my time to care for their children as well as they would, I'd love the opportunity! My 11 years as a mother of 3 has taught me how to better communicate with the minds of children and how to cater to their individual spirits. While my 8 years as an FDNY first responder taught me valuable, life saving skills to use in any emergency such as CPR, AED use and trauma/wound care. I also have several years of experience caring for children with Down Syndrome, Autism and Hearing Impairments, which has only enhanced my understanding of children. I'm looking forward to speaking with you!
