About Anita

I'm excited to get to know you and your family! I'm a retired first responder looking to fill my schedule purposefully. I know just how busy life can get so if I can help a family by lending my time to care for their children as well as they would, I'd love the opportunity. The ideal opportunity match would allow me to bring my 2-year-old, MJ, to spend time with and grow alongside your little one! My 14 years as a mother has taught me how to better communicate with the minds of children and how to cater to their individual spirits. While my 8 years as an FDNY first responder taught me valuable, life saving skills to use in any emergency such as CPR, AED use and trauma/wound care. I also have several years of experience caring for children with Down Syndrome, Autism and Hearing Impairments, which has only enhanced my understanding of children. I'm hoping we'll get a chance to speak soon!
