Hi! I love animals and I am always excited when I get the opportunity to work with them. Growing up, I had a lot of friends who had pets, specifically dogs. I would often take care of their dogs when they went on vacations and take them for walks. During my college experience, I volunteered at the local animal shelter. I participated in a program where I trained local dogs at the shelter and then took them to local elementary schools for presentations. I would be in charge of transporting the dog and handling him or her during the presentation. Additionally, this past year, I have house sat/dog watched for a family in Seattle. I was in charge of taking their 2-year-old golden retriever on walks twice a day, feeding him, and playing with him.
