About Anissa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my 18-year teaching career. I hold a graduate degree and am a Certified teacher with extensive experience in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on fostering a love for learning rather than simple memorization. I build confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. Whether we meet online, at a library, or a local coffee shop, I adapt my methods--from visual aids to hands-on practice--to fit your unique style. I believe clear communication is essential for building the trust needed to achieve long-term success. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to supporting your academic journey and helping you discover just how much you are capable of achieving.
