About Anika

My last child I had cared for would run up to the door screaming, "Anka, Anka!" He had just turned 2 and could never pronounce my name properly. All the children I have looked after have immense personality and I was glad to be able to help enhance those personality traits a little more. I have had experience from newborns to teenagers; being an older sister to a wonderful sister truly helped me understand how to care for them better. I was a part-time Nanny to a newborn for 6 months, the family called me "the baby whisperer". I have also worked at an early learning center, I remember this one time, we had a 3-yr old, he was a very enthusiastic child, he would never listen to anyone, but with me, he was always quiet, I would read him dinosaur stories and play little games with him. I've been surrounded by kids my entire life, and I was the oldest out of them all. But it was my first year of college, when I realized how much I truly enjoyed spending time looking after children.
