Hi there! I am a career nanny who has been working in just about every realm of childcare since high school. In high school I did run of the mill babysitting- immediately following graduation I began doing ELA support and behavioral management in low income elementary schools. I also received ECE training in phonetics and behavioral management. Following my work in elementary schools, I began supervising a large in home daycare with 12 children- 4 infants and 8 toddlers. At the daycare I did daily housekeeping, meal prep and planning, educational circle time, as well as typical baby care such as changing diapers and preparing bottles. Angelica (Demi) nannied for us for the first year of our son's life, and she became part of our family. She was a godsend for us as new parents at the very start of the pandemic in the summer of 2020. She was always very respectful and understanding when it came to our particular requests about masking and COVID, and we felt like we could always trust her to exercise good judgment when it came to protecting our "bubble" especially before vaccines became available. Demi is incredibly loving, caring, and patient, even on your baby/toddler's most emotional days. From the start, she was always dedicated to ensuring the best care for our little one, especially when it came to his sleep and nutritional schedules. She becomes very "in tune" with your child's individual personality, developmental progression, and with their emotions (so necessary with toddlers)! Demi has gone above and beyond for our family, and we so appreciate the time our little guy had with her.
