Hi! My name is Angelica. I'm 37, proudly bilingual, and fluent in both English and Spanish. I'm a traveler at heart, a lover of merengue and salsa, and someone who can turn just about anything into a musical learning moment.

I earned my associate's degree in Childhood Development, and for over 10 years I've been growing, learning, and pouring my heart into this field. I've had the joy of working with autistic children, children with ADHD, children with epilepsy, tiny newborns, curious infants, and one of my favorites a lively classroom of Pre-K kiddos.

Teaching through music, movement, and joy is truly my passion, and I love creating moments that help children feel seen, supported, and excited to learn.

Angelica has done a fantastic job engaging and entertaining our daughter, who has special needs. Angelica has been reliable and genuinely caring and thoughtful as to how she engages our daughter. Our daughter can’t wait for Angelica to come back!

I recently hired Angelica for a three-week period during my first long-haul trip with my 5-month-old daughter to D.C. Despite our initial discussions about the uncertainties of my schedule and the need for flexibility, Angelica's actions fell short of her promises.

Upon our first meeting, Angelica reassured me of her flexibility, even for weekend shifts. However, on the very first day, she abruptly informed me of the need to leave due to parking garage closing, demonstrating a lack of awareness about parking options in D.C. Despite my efforts to provide estimated timings and apologize for the initial uncertainties, she unexpectedly ended her duty on the next day, citing vague reasons about the workload and weekend timings being too much for her.

Angelica's lack of reliability and failure to communicate openly about her limitations left me in a difficult position during a crucial time. This experience was far from the understanding and flexibility she initially promised, making her services unsuitable for anyone seeking reliable childcare support.

Angelica is the first babysitter we've worked with so we were nervous but when Angelica started playing with our daughter our nerves were put at ease. Angelica had a very gentle energy and she asked the right questions. Angelica gave us updates and pictures and she didn't hesitate to text us if she had a question which continued to put us at ease. We would definitely hire Angelica again.

Angelica was WONDERFUL! I was traveling from out of town on a major holiday and she was reliable, punctual, pleasant and able to calm and comfort my infant. Will absolutely book again!

Angelica was amazing! We hired her very last minute on a Saturday, and she was very punctual with the time we needed. The second she walked in the door my 1yr old daughter was immediately smitten with her, which helped this mommy as it was our first time leaving her with someone other than family. She sent me an update part way through the night about how they were doing. She was also able to get my baby to sleep, which I know is very tough to do. I would highly recommend Angelica!

angelica was awesome were having her sit for the weekend she put all three kids to bed, played with them, is super nice and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend!  she was there on time and texted us updates on the kids through the night!

Me and my wife just moved here from Florida and this was our first time ever using a babysitter. Angelica has been nothing short of amazing. She is very punctual and attentive to our two young boys (21 months and 6 months). Both of our boys have responded well to her. We've now booked her twice and have no plans to use anyone else. Thank you Angelica for being so awesome.

I live in Minnesota, and needed a babysitter in Maryland while attending a wedding. It is a little nerve-wracking hiring someone across the country! However, I was super impressed with Angelica and she had great references. She was able to come to our hotel and watch my little one while we were at the wedding. She did a great job and I could immediately tell we would be just fine leaving our daughter in her care so that we could have a good time. I would definitely recommend Angelica!

Angelica was sweet in our interview when I spoke to her a month before my wedding for which we were providing childcare. We hired three childcare givers to work with a range of children from infants to 9 years old. She followed up with me a week before the event to confirm that I still needed the childcare. She was very friendly and seemed to have enjoyed her time with the children at the end of the night. I would recommend her services!

Hired her to fill-in for my regular nanny for a week. Interview was great and very communicative leading up to the start date. On the morning she was supposed to start she didn't show. 20 minutes after the start time she messaged me to tell me that her phone service had been shut off and she'd be arriving in another hour. She claimed she'd entered the wrong address in her GPS and had ended up driving 48 miles in the wrong direction, to a town in a different state than mine. I may have believed her if she hadn't already BEEN to my home for the interview. I told her to forget it and I'd find someone else. She then had her husband call me who gave me a different excuse for her tardiness (traffic). I don't know what the truth was, but I do know that I didn't trust her, nor did I feel I could depend on her, and I could not entrust my 3 children to someone like that. 

She was great. Responded quickly and was able to make herself available for when I needed her 2 days later. My daughter enjoyed her and I comfortable with her from the minute I met her and felt like I was leaving my daughter in good hands while I was gone. We will definitely be using her again. 

We absolutely loved Angelica! My daughters constantly ask me to call her, even when we don't need childcare. She brought activities for the girls and they loved it. She was always on time, even when called at the last minute. Will definitely continue to utilize in the future!

Angelica was great.  This was my first time finding a sitter through the site and Angelica made me feel very relaxed.  More importantly, my son immediately felt comfortable with her.  They read books and made drawings and had a great time.  My son even asked where she was why she left when he woke up the next morning.  I will certainly be reaching out to Angelica again.  

Angelica is hands down the person I trust my child with the most! She's been taking care of him since he was 5 months old (now almost 2) and he loves spending time with her. She babysat him for an entire weekend once. She provided lots of photo updated and it felt like he was just another part of her family! I would recommend her to everyone!!

Angelica has always maintained an upbeat,professional and friendly demeanor. She is more than amazing! Forget all other perspective caregivers for your children. If you believe your child/children  deserve the best; then you've found her.
