I have been a substitute teacher of 18 years. I have always known that I was going to be a Teacher since I was a little girl. I would invite the neighborhood kids over to my house, just to play school with them and of course I was the teacher. Being in a classroom setting teaching and watching the children learn and explore new subjects, was a magical moment for me. I have experience in reading comprehension assessment, which is needed to assure that your child meets Common Core Georgia Performance Standards, CCGPS. Since my retirement I have decided to continue my education in hopes of receiving a second degree. My motto is, you're never to old to learn new things. So back to school I go.
