About Jasmine

I'm a school counselor and former educator with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's of Education in school counseling. Before becoming a school counselor, I spent two years as a Paraeducator teaching reading and math intervention for grades K-5. During this time I delivered small group instruction for students below grade level to improve their reading and math performance. During graduate school, I worked with undergraduate students as a student success coach targeting executive functioning and study skills. I combine my teaching and school counseling experience to make learning engaging and accessible. I believe that students learn best with the right balance of challenge and support provided by a teacher who believes in them.
