Learning isn't one-size-fits-all. I'm passionate about helping elementary students unlock their potential through personalized support. With a graduate degree and 14 years of experience, I create engaging and patient learning environments, fostering a love for learning in Math and English. I actively listen to students and adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and regular practice. I celebrate small wins and connect challenging topics to their interests. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to parents. I am a certified teacher and familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I am willing to tutor online or at the library. Witnessing a student's confidence blossom is what I find most rewarding. I have a car, so I can be flexible with meeting times.
