Hello, I was in Nanny for 25 years. I cared for my parents and my husband. I lost my husband in 2024 and was missing being a caregiver, so I went into the field of home healthcare. I currently work in home healthcare, but need more of a consistent schedule and also would like to work privately. I currently have clients who need memory care or spinal injuries. I provide to clients' social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship Supporting mobility (helping with walking, transfers or using mobility aids) Taking clients to their medical appointments or personal errands Managing medications to ensure clients take doses as prescribed Preparing meals, doing laundry and performing light housework Assisting with daily living tasks, such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming and eating Identifying and addressing safety issues in the home or facility Keeping accurate records of care provided Communicating with medical professionals
