Hey there, my name is Andrea (Annie) and I've been in the special education field for about four years in different school districts as an instructional assistant. In Beaverton, I worked for 2. 5 years in a self-contained behavior classroom for kids with ASD, ADHD, trauma, Emotional Disturbance and many other behavior-related disabilities. There, I was trained in OIS prevention strategies, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports, and Collaborative Problem Solving, along with EpiPen and Medication training. I am currently employed through the David Douglas School District as a SpEd Assistant in anticipation for an unpaid summer break.
