About Andrea

As a former educator and mentor, I have over 10 years of professional experience working with the elderly, low-income and marginalized communities, and kids with behavior and special needs. I hold a Bachelors in Education, and several trainings, including: CPR/First Aid, Collaborative Problem Solving, Nonviolent Communication, Mindfulness and Meditation, Antiracism Training, and calming techniques and strategies. As a mentor, I individually tutored youth aged 5-18 with any and all coursework and helped them master other skills in socialization, future planning, making good choices, and healthy living. My favorite part about working with people is helping them see the greatness within themselves and being a part of creating lifelong connections.
