About Andrea

Hi there, my name's Andrea. I am currently a senior at High School, where I am a member of National Honors Society, a national club that provides free peer tutoring. I also work with an organization that pairs struggling first and second grade readers within the School with trained teen reading coaches. I believe in creating fun ways to learn and practice the fundamentals so that students become more confident in their abilities. The student I was previously paired with spoke a different language at home and wasn't able to practice reading enough, so I worked with him to build his confidence and strengthen his fluency. My strengths include reading and writing; however, I also love learning new languages and am an intermediate-level Spanish speaker with University . Thank you!
