About Andrea

I'm currently an after school teacher at CMS. I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. My goal is to build confidence and a genuine love for learning. I create engaging and patient environments. I actively listen to students and observe how they interact with new material. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and progress. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I have one year of experience and some college education. I can help with courses in English, Foreign Language (Spanish) and Art at the elementary level. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at various locations. I also hold certifications in CPR, First Aid and others which I will provide as requested. I would love to use my skills to help your student succeed!
