I like working with kids because they have a sense of wonder and joy out of the little things in life. They are an ever present reminder of what life is all about. I'm looking for a job that allows for some co-created structure and a lot of fun. One thing you should know about me is I take a very nature based approach to learning. I love to take kids outside to explore in all kinds of weather. Weather appropriate clothing/shoes, and sunscreen and/or bug spray is a must. I have training and experience in early literacy and reading intervention, English as a second language, and culturally competent pedagogy education. I have been in education for most of my career with 10+ years of experience, and would love to work with families for a more individualized and relationship based caregiver experience.
