About Andrea

I'd describe my personality as curious, outgoing and generous I like working with kids because they are also curious. I homeschooled (unschooled) my kids and we had so much fun and taught all my grandchildren to ride bikes, swim, & standup paddleboard. I'm looking for a job that is occasional not necessarily full time. Hoping to fill in for parents when a child is sick or has days off that parents don't have. I started working with kids 35 years ago. Now I have 7 grandchildren.. 2 biological, the others are children of my kids' friends who have chosen us as grandparents. In my spare time, I like to run, read, garden, mountain bike, play soccer. One thing you should know about me is I enjoy staying busy. My educational background is economics but have been certified as a lifespan doula (birth through EOL), and a permaculture designer. I love adventures -both big and small. My skills include getting outdoors, reading books, tactile engagement. I am not a fan of screen time.
