About Andrea

I am an elementary educator with experience teaching students in grades kindergarten through third grade. In addition to my classroom teaching responsibilities, I serve as an interventionist as part of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team. In this role, I provide targeted, one-on-one instruction to students who need additional support in foundational reading and writing skills. I assess student needs, implement evidence-based interventions, and monitor progress to help close learning gaps and bring students to grade-level proficiency. My work focuses on building strong literacy foundations, increasing student confidence, and supporting overall academic growth.
