About Amy

With over 30 years of experience teaching PreK and 5 years in special education, I bring a patient, nurturing, and highly individualized approach to working with young learners. I specialize in supporting PreK and Kindergarten students across all academic areas, including early literacy, math, and school readiness skills. I understand that every child learns differently, and I tailor my teaching to meet each child's unique needs--building confidence, fostering a love of learning, and helping them succeed at their own pace. My background in special education allows me to provide additional support for children who may need extra guidance, structure, or encouragement. Families can expect clear communication, a positive learning environment, and a strong focus on helping their child grow both academically and emotionally. My goal is to make learning engaging, supportive, and meaningful for every child I work with.
