With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and a love for learning in elementary students. I adapt my teaching by actively listening and varying strategies like visual aids and hands-on activities. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes keeps my students motivated. Open communication with students and parents is essential for understanding needs and building trust. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom. I have a car and am available to tutor at libraries, community centers, schools, and coffee shops. I would love to help your student succeed in math or English, and I am CPR and First Aid trained.
