About Nissa

Hi there, I am a certified teacher with a degree in reading and a minor in Spanish. I am a current high school Spanish teacher and have been so for about 18 years. I currently tutor and certainly am willing to take on new kids. We have a new way of teaching which utilizes teaching proficiency through storytelling, where a story is told, and the student is made part of the story, speaking in the target language the whole way, I myself only started learning to do this three or four years ago and in my own classrooms, I have seen a minimum of a 500+ percent upgrade in their ability to understand and retain the language. It's tremendously fun and successful.
