For years, I've helped middle school and high school students thrive in various subjects such as English, Science, and History. I hold a graduate degree and adapt my teaching to individual learning styles through active listening, varied strategies, and open communication. I keep students engaged by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and fostering curiosity. Communication is key to building trust and collaboration with both students and parents. I am familiar with student accommodation plans (504). Seeing a student's confidence soar is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I speak English and a little bit of Spanish. I have a car and I am comfortable with pets. I am available to tutor at the student's home, center, library, community center, or coffee shop.
