About Amy

Nurturing young minds and fostering learning and development is my passion. For the past eight years, I've had the joy of caring for children of all ages and needs. I hold a college degree and have completed coursework in Communication Sciences and Disorders along with Early Child Development. Currently, I work as a school based speech-language pathology assistant. I have experience working with children with autism. I am skilled at using and programming AAC devices. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly, making me approachable for both children and parents. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, enforcing household rules, light housekeeping, and cooking. I enjoy crafts, books, outdoor activities, games, and all things speech and language development. I'm also certified in First Aid and CPR. Ultimately, I aim to make a positive impact on your children's lives, and I hope to bring my experience to your family.
