My name is Amy M. I am a nanny with over 10 years of nanny experience. I am CPR and AED certified. I am available for a part-time or a full-time nanny position. I have been a nanny for children of all ages especially newborns and younger children. I also was a substitute teacher in the past for many years for Carroll County Board of Education. She really knows how to connect with children, my daughter would crawl as fast as she could to her every morning as soon as she would come through the door, which really put my anxious mind as ease knowing my daughter was comfortable with her.

Amy cared for my 2 children ages 4 and 6in my home before we decided to let her go.  Our children brought several issues to our attention such as Amy's excessive cell phone use and leaving them unattended at the public park for a period of time.  Amy would pick up her grandchild and take her to the park along with my children with out our permission.  When we confronted her with these issues she stated "your children are lying".  I do not recommend Amy to care for your children.

Amy has been our in-home nanny 3 days a week for the last year. She started when my son was three months old and he is 15 months old now. As a first time mom, I was extremely anxious about going back to work and putting my trust in someone I had just met, but from the first time I interviewed Amy, I knew in my gut she was the right person. I definitely made the right decision. She is excellent with babies. She is patient, nurturing, and very much at ease with newborns. Being an experienced mom herself, she even taught me a few things and I looked to her for advice. She did a great job with keeping our son on his schedule and I always came home to a well-rested and happy kid. Aside from being a great caretaker, Amy is highly professional, punctual, and very reliable, which was so important to us. In the year, she has worked with us, she has never once called out unexpectedly (even in terrible weather conditions) or put us in a bind in any way. I highly recommend Amy as a nanny, especially if you are an anxious new mom. She is a kind, trustworthy and reliable person with a natural ability for child care.
