Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a former teacher, a mom of two teens, and someone who truly loves spending time with kids. I taught in Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 20 years and have a master's in Early Childhood Education, so whether your little one is learning to share or your big kid needs help with reading homework, I've got it covered. My style is calm, patient, and playful. Kids do best with a little structure, lots of encouragement, and plenty of time to just be kids. I'm happy to help with homework, school pickups, snacks, and keeping the day running smoothly. When I'm not with kids, I'm usually reading, skiing, or planning my next trip. I love sharing those interests, whether it's a library visit, a story about a faraway place, or exploring outside. I'm reliable, Pittsburgh-based, and happy to share references.
