About Amy

One of my main goals is to help a student understand how to better speak the language of any given lesson. This can aid in removing the "fear of the unknown." I also bring an interest with me that I try to pass along- our sessions are interactive and productive. I have been a teacher for over 20 years and would love to help your student achieve peace of mind in his or her studies, knowing they are employing correct thinking toward the good work he or she is doing. I am patient, thorough, and use many examples and types. With three children of my own, I believe education is a beautiful investment! But it is not always easy. I ask a lot of questions and remind the students that it is completely acceptable to answer with, "I'm not sure," or "I don't know." These are actually clues that he or she is willing to learn!
