About Amy

Hello! My name is Amy. I am a certified teacher specializing in Early Childhood to 6th grade and ESL. In addition to being a certified teacher, I also have a Master of Education graduate degree from Texas A&M. My classroom experience includes teaching 5th grade, 4th grade, 3rd grade, 1st grade, and kindergarten. I have taught in both public and private school settings. During my time teaching, I was a teacher of the year campus winner and district finalist. As of recently I am also a published children's book author. My mission as an educator and tutor is to make learning come alive through student-centered practices and authentic learning.
