About Amy

I'd describe my personality as creative, passionate, and fun. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to work with students one on one and help them to be successful with their learning. I started tutoring when I left teaching in a primary classroom within the school district 3 years ago. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog, do home projects and crafts. One thing you should know about me is that I will adapt lessons to meet your child's individual learning needs and do whatever I can to help them learn. My skills include certifications in Elementary Education, Orton Gillingham, Reading/ Literacy, Gifted Learning, Preschool Education, Behavior Management, and English Language Learning. I am also a Step-Up provider and accept Step-Up Scholarships.
