About Amy

I've worked as an instructor for kids ages 4-14 at Gideon Math and Reading Center. While there, I learned different ways to connect with kids through conversation, games, and encouragement. I've also worked at a daycare with infants and toddlers (ages 3-48 months), where I helped with diaper changes, bottle feeding, cleaning surfaces and toys, supervising outside play, and leading fun activities. Right now, I'm studying Speech-Language Pathology in college, so I've taken advanced classes on child language development and communication disorders. I will be bringing this knowledge into giving your family the most comprehensive care. In addition to English, I can speak Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which allows me to connect with families from different backgrounds. My supervisors have described me as a calm, positive, and friendly person, so you can be confident your kids are in good hands!
