Hello! My name is Amy C. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education, along with a certification in behavior analysis. I am married and have two boys, ages 7 and 10 1/2. I currently work as a paraprofessional at Golden Oaks Education Center, a behavior school with North Kansas City Schools. Through my work as a paraprofessional and also as a nanny during college, I have a lot of experience with kids that have Autism, ADHD, ODD and other behavior and/or developmental disorders. I really, really love working with these kids and am a firm believer that they just need someone to lovingly show them that their brains are beautiful, they can succeed and that they are wanted. I am a Christian and obtained my M. A. in Counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I would love to be considered as a nanny for your kiddos!

Amy was a great sitter for our 2 girls. She communicated well leading up to the job, inquiring about the girls interests/likes, and brought a book relating to those interests. She was very friendly, and my girls took to her right away. She even played on our backyard play set with them. Definitely would hire again.
