Hi! I'm AmyBeth (she/her). I'm 34 years old and live in Berkeley. I'm currently looking for regular childcare work. I have worked with 6 families to provide on-and-off babysitting over the past 5 years. I also have long-term experience caring for a 10-month-old for 20-25 hours a week until she started daycare at 20 months. I have experience with school-aged children as well. I worked as the Children and Youth Director of a Presbyterian Church for a year and a half, leading programming for ages 4-17. I also briefly worked for Nanny Agency in Tucson, AZ before the pandemic began. I bring a passion for meeting children where they are, implementing developmentally appropriate activities, and enjoy incorporating music (I sing and play guitar and piano). I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I have my own car.

Amybeth is trustworthy, kind, and easily connects with little ones of all ages. She knows how to read a child's cues and respond appropriatley. She jumps in quickly with little direction which helps our family feel cared for. Our now 20 month old has known her since she was born as a friend of ours and trusted caregiver and gets excited everytime she shows up to play and/or babysit. I would highly recommend Amybeth as a caregiver!
