About Ammie

I love working with kids because they have a unique way of seeing the world. Their imagination and curiosity are endless, and I enjoy helping them explore new ideas and learn. I'm looking for a babysitting or nannying job where I can build a trusting relationship with a family, communicate clearly, and create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I've cared for younger cousins, babysat children ages 1-5 for neighbors and family friends, and worked five months as a first-grade teaching assistant gaining hands-on experience supporting students and daily activities. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, pickleball, rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, reading, board games, and going to church. I aspire to become an elementary school teacher, which is why I'm studying at Western, and I'm passionate about working with kids long-term!
