About Aminah

I am a law school graduate from UC Davis School of Law. I also have experience in journalism and one-on-one tutoring. I love proving to my students that they are absolutely capable of achieving any goal they set their hearts and minds on. My legal background informs my approach; I ensure that our practice is precise, thorough, and consistent. My background as a managing editor of a newspaper informs my method; I use creativity and narrative skills to produce quality work that stands out. I offer individualized English and writing support for high school students, college students, and adult learners. Sessions can focus on but are not limited to essay organization, thesis development, reading comprehension, grammar, research-based writing, or personal statements. I have personal experience with ADHD and I will make sure to incorporate methods that are tailored to your needs. We will work together to bring out the best in you.
