About Amelia

I have been working with kids my entire life- I grew up with 4 younger siblings, and there has always been someone to help out with! I have babysat since I was 13, and nannied for a summer as well. In my spare time, I like to run, read, spend time with family and friends, hike, and travel! I was a lifeguard, which ensured that I took not only CPR but also first aid/ emergency response training and practiced preventative measures for safety as well. I have experience in a classroom setting assisting with a wide range of ages as well as assisting with youth sports, which allowed me to learn how to best teach and engage with children. I also am very interested in all things creative, and love to craft and do other activities, making it very easy to really interact with children and spend time away from screens.
